ORV was started in 1995/1996 by [Os]mium as a soloproject. In the beginning the songs were more sort of the classical minimalistic synthpop. There have been only a few demo-tapes and reviews in some fanzines during that time.

In 1996 [Os]mium joined DIARY OF DREAMS and spent most of time and effort on his work for this band and left them in autumn 2003 due to job-related circumstances.

[Os]mium then joined PLASTIC from 2003-2005 as live-keyboarder.

Since the beginning of 2004 ORV has been reactived:
new songs have been written, old songs have been polished and [Os]mium improved his songwriting and mixing/production-skills.

In the mean-time [Os]mium did some remixes for e.g.
AGONISED BY LOVE, SUPERIKONE, MYSTERY OF DAWN,ADOPTEDCHILD, PUNTO OMEGA, IN MITRA MEDUSA INRI, OBSC(Y)RE.

End April 2007 ORV released a selfproduced and via the ORV-Website selfdistributed CD-R "Strange behaviour EP". This EP includes 8 Songs and offers an overview of the current works of ORV.

In September 2007 ORV contributed the song "Razed" for the compilation
"DOPAMIN-3" which was released via Codeline-Records.

Currently ORV is writing new songs for an album which will hopefully be
released during 2008. And of course ORV is still looking for a record-label.
